So there it was, I'm walking lazily, possibly hung over, down the main drag on an island called Isla colon in the northeast corner of Panama. I see a SFP shirt with the tell tale logo we've all come to love resting upon the shoulder, very near the sleeve of some guy who has no idea of what he's sporting.. I closed my eyes and remembered why I wasn't able to accompany one of my best bros on the next leg of his central american holiday, to one of the best waves in this hemishpere, Pavones.

The time goes by so quickly that it's hard to recall the date, let alone, the month, in which he visited, but, he was here and I still am , and this is the beginning of the stories to follow.

As I type this, I'm in Golfito, Costa Rica, renewing my visa for the next 72 hours, in order to remain living in the great country of Panama. I highly recommend you not come here, to Golfito, unless your on your way to the Osa pennisula which includes the famous Corcavado National Park. It really is a broken down, boring f'n town. It makes me sad to know that just thirty minutes away, is one of the best waves in this hemisphere (previously mentioned) and I'm sitting at this bar shaped like a sailboat with 8 whores to my left side and twenty dirty whore hunting dudes sitting facing them, staring their way. Where am I?

So just three weeks ago, I drove past a piece of land with three waterfalls, two swimming pools, two bars, one restaurant, 11 rooms and two houses which was so freaking cool that, My friend and I purchased it! It used to be a push button which is a locale you bring your wife or girlfriend to do the doodoo. Rooms by the hour..And now, it is home and, it is what I'll be writing about except that we'll be turning it into a world class art/music/party based budget travelers resort of sorts that one day will include workshops that contain free materials to create. The only catch is , you leave all pieces with us. The music room is on the way. We have thirteen instruments as of now and more on the way..

We're pressure cleaning, digging up rocks, burning wood, catching tarantula's and within days, we'll be painting. It's called the W. Short for the Waterfall Hostel in David, Panama. Keep an eye out for the updates and pics on this project. It's going to be nutty to the extreme. People from around the world contributing their everything in hopes of leaving a mark. Welcome to my world. Welcome welcome welcome.

I saw this interesting trailer for a documentary today about a guy who quits his successful medical practice to travel the earth and surf with his family of 11 children in a 24 ft. camper.... wow! What a set of balls on this guy huh? First of all, 11 kids.... and then saying fuck off to the man and dragging 12 people with you down an unknown path. This guy is my new fucking hero.

Trent Reznor has decided to follow in the footsteps of Radiohead and release tracks for free. They did a similar thing with the last Saul Williams record which was very successful. Not only is he releasing 9 songs for free it on his site, but he put a copy of the full album that contains 36 tracks where it can be downloaded for free. I think it's a smart thing, the record is going to get there sometime anyway, so why not use it as press and put it up there yourself. People respect that type of honesty and some will end up buying the album anyway.

I actaully saw this on a currentTV spot first and then ran into it again on Stumble. So I guess it was divine intervention for me to write about it and pass it on. Hugs are definitely unappreciated especially by people who get them all the time.
